This new vacation home on Minjerribah embodies calmness and ease, so its occupants can get pleasure from being immersed in nature on the seashore. Influenced by native campsites – the place cooking, gathering, and sleeping zones are united below a big tarpaulin – the home incorporates important performance in a compact footprint, beneath a chic butterfly roof.
Constructed for 3 households, it comfortably accommodates as much as 10 folks. sleeping and bathing areas are intentionally small, whereas the communal space is beneficiant and opens as much as views of the ocean and surrounding bushland. This openness enhances the sense of being “on vacation”.
The native Jandai phrase Moongalba, or “sitting down place”, fantastically describes the simplicity of spending time right here.
